The Bay Hawks have reportedly released forward David Barlow due to family reasons, according to NZ Hoops on Twitter.
The four-time ANBL champion was set to join the Hawks for the upcoming NBL season, which begins on April 26.
The Hawks signed Barlow as one of their imports, but his exclusion means they’ll get that spot back.
NBL preseason action is set to tip-off on Friday in Palmerston North.
