The New Zealand Breakers have officially re-signed forward Finn Delaney to a two-year deal, the club has announced.
Delaney joins Shea Ili, Thomas Abercrombie and Alex Pledger as the only four players officially contracted by the Breakers at this point.
Delaney played in 26 games for the Breakers last season, posting averages of 4.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game. He shot 49 per cent from the field.
The 22-year-old is expected to have an expanded role in the 2018-19 season and will be looking to fill the void left by veteran Mika Vukona, who has signed with the Brisbane Bullets.
The Breakers are reportedly in the running to sign forward Tai Wesley. It was reported last week that the two sides had come to terms on a multi-year deal, however, the Breakers have yet to confirm the agreement.
