Alex Pledger recorded a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks on 6-of-10 shooting, while Reuben Te Rangi managed 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting with three 3-pointers.
American import Orlando Coleman added 14 points, seven rebounds and two assists on 6-of-10 shooting and 2-of-2 from deep.
The Saints were without L.J. Peak tonight and they looked a step behind because of it.
Shea Ili returned from his time in Dallas to post 26 points, seven assists and three steals in 38 minutes. He shot 8-of-22 from the field and 3-of-8 from three.
Majok Majok posted a big double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds, Leon Henry dropped 22 points and eight rebounds with five 3-pointers and Jordan Ngatai had 19 points, seven rebounds and two steals in 40 minutes.
The Saints shot just 38 per cent as a team and finished 9-of-31 from three, while the Sharks shot an efficient 51 per cent from the field.
The Saints’ 10-game winning streak came to an end tonight, and the Sharks were able to beat them for the second time this season.
Wellington are now 10-2, while the Sharks move to 8-3.
